wonderful

There is another fab recipe challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week.

The sketch.

Reverse something.

Add some brads.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

'Spring is in the air': By the Cute & Girly.

Papers: Cosmo Cricket ~ Early Bird: Apron Strings and Sunrise.

When you open the hinge, this is what you see.

Gorgeous image: Penny Johnson ~ Penelope, coloured with copics. I've also added some stickles, which don't show up well in the photo, but she does sparkle!

The sentiment is a Tim Holtz token which says 'Wonderful'.

Apologies for still not having been able to visit all your blogs, I just haven't had any {me} time lately, but I will catch up just as soon as I can!

Thank you for looking.

sweetness

There is another fabulous recipe challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity:

The sketch (which I spun on it's side).

Use some notepaper.

Include a butterfly.

I really am loving these recipes as they are encouraging me to use up some long forgotten stash and I am really in 'using up my stash' mode at the moment.

Other challenges that I am entering:

'anything Spring': (I have chosen Spring colours) The Pink Elephant.

'are you wearing green?': (my lady is!) Created By Hand.

'flowers with option of pastel colours': (which I have) Crafty Calendar Challenge.

Papers: Cosmo Cricket ~ Honey Pie

Notepaper: Making Memories ~ {note}worthy. I have several of these spiral notebooks, long forgotten about in favour of other things, so it was good to go back to it.

I added some further layers of notebook effect paper by using my EK Success edge punch. I added some embossing, machine stitching and some gorgeous velvety lace ribbon and floral lace.

The butterfly is a K&Co rub-on.

Flowers are Prima and I hand sewed a button to the centre.

Image: Elisabeth Bell ~ Willow Holding Baby coloured with copics.

The 'sweetness snap' is by We R Memory Keepers. I'm gradually using them up!

A Tim Holtz ticket.

Thank you for looking.

vintage bride

Challenges:

'wedding': Stampavie & more.

'spots & dots': Crafty Creations.

'anniversaries': Cute Card Thursday.

'going dotty': Creative Card Crew.

'distressed somethings': Stamp Something.

Once again I used those fabulous papers from the Graphic 45 ~ Fashionista Collection and inked the edges.

I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch to create the heart frame.

The lace was attached with Tim Holtz brads and I glimmer misted the rose.

This gorgeous bride image is by CC Designs. You will see this a lot from me, because she is fabulous! I coloured her with my copics and added some stickles.

I apologise that I haven't had a chance to blog hop lately, my time has been taken up with other {less exciting} things. I will make up for it over the weekend and I look forward to coming to visit you all.

Thank you for visiting me!

vintage friends

The sketch: Sketch and Stash. I think I've just made it in time!

'Spots & Dots': One Stop Craft Challenge.

'Frost your Creations': Gingersnap Creations. I have used crackle paint and glitter embossing powder.

Here is my creation (you'll see it clearer if you click on the photo):

Papers: Graphic 45 ~ Fashionista Collection.

I've embossed the edges with glitter embossing powder. I combined two different coloured powders to achieve the colour I wanted.

I rummaged through my old button pot and found a lovely vintagey looking button to add to the image and I sewed it on.

The measuring tape is 7gypsies ~ gaffer tape. I've had this forever and just happened across it. The colours go just perfectly.

I cut out the clock, embossed the edges with the same glitter combination powder and crackle glazed the face. When it was ready I added a Tim Holtz game spinner.

Thank you for looking.
