the woods would be very silent

No coloured image today. I just created a quick and fun piece. I am entering this into THREE challenges.

The ABC Challenge this week is 'B is for buttons' and I made my own for this one (all except one).

At Theme Thursday the theme is 'seasons' and to create a piece of art reflecting your favourite season. With the greens turning to browns, I've tried to reflect the seasons as they change from summer to autumn as they are both favourites of mine.

Lots To Do this week has a challenge to 'use any type of paper'.

Here is what I came up with (click on photos for close up):

I used papers from the Dream Street Papers ~ Birdie Bits collection. I've had these papers forever but have not had a chance to use them before now.

I made the buttons by punching out circles and adhering them to circle grungeboard pieces. I then punched holes in them and stitched them on.

The trees at the bottom (representing the woods) are a sheer piece of ribbon found in my stash.
