rock-a-bye baby: Graphic 45 Little Darlings

Good evening! Today I'm coming at you from Crafts 4 Eternity where this week we have a them of nursery rhymes

What a great excuse to dig out my as yet untouched Graphic 45 ~ Little Darlings papers. I love this paper line so much, that after buying a full set of 12 x 12, I then went and bought the 12 x 12 paper pad also.

I've made a box and here is the front. You'll see I've used some of the chipboard pieces from the collection.

When you lift off the lid, the front piece falls down.

Here's the full piece open. Excuse the sunshiney shadows :)

The top section consists of two pockets, with space on the front for a photo.

The front pouch contains a simple little card, ready for a personal message to be added.

The pack pouch contains a little mini album.

Also, we are having a design team call. We are looking for 5 new members no less. All you have to do to apply, is leave a ling to your blog here: Crafts 4 Eternity Design Team Call. You have until midnight 5th October 2012 to apply.

Mama-Razzi

Hello! It's Friday ... hooray! This week at Crafts 4 Eternity we have a new challenge: Feature a number! Nice and easy huh?

I was asked to make a birthday card for someone with a theme of photography and this is what I came up with.

This had me reaching for my Bo Bunny ~ Mama-Razzi papers. I also used some of the rub-ons which are in this set, which included the camera.

The image is Dina Wakley ~ Silhouette Script. I love these stamps. I added a pearl swirl.

Loving these gorgeous zippy things from Prima.

Finally, for the numbers, I took some vinyl black numbers, but they looked a bit too black so I sprayed them with coffee glimmer mists, then heated them with my heat gun. Love the effect it gave them.

Thank you for looking.

I am horribly late for our challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity  but I had started so thought I would finish!

The challenge this week is to use one or more colours from this vintage toy photo. Easy peasy right? You still have until Thursday evening to enter.
This is what I came up with.

Papers: Simple Stories ~ Harvest Lane.

I added a little pull out pocket.

navy white & yellow wedding day

Hello there and welcome to a new week and ... woah! cannot believe it is September already. Just dark nights for the next six months ahead. Not that I am all doom and gloom or anything, but ... perlease! we haven't even had a summer yet!

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenges we have a photo inspiration colour challenge for you.

I had no idea what I would make until I spotted this wedding stamp which has been patiently sitting on my craft table for a few months now, all ready to be used at a moments notice and then I thought of the papers that I could use for it and it was all systems go.

This is A4 size, so impossible for me to photograph.

Papers: Teresa Collins ~ Everyday Moments.

Image: La Blanche ~ Bride stamp.

I sprayed the card first with Glimmer Mist ~ Dazzling Diamonds before stamping the image, hopefully you can see this in this photo. Lots of lovely wedding shimmery-ness.

I've machine stitched most of the edges and embossed all of them with a glittery embossing powder.

Love this Prima clock and bird.

Lots of Prima bling.

The lace on the side?

It is a pull out photo card, ready for photos to be added.

Front of pull out card which has a lace tie fastening.

Inside card.
