creepy crawly chilling thrilling HALLOWEEN

Good morning! This week at Crafts 4 Eternity our theme is creepy crawlies.

I've made another mixed media canvas.

I've got lots of layers on this: Gesso, Dylusions ink (cut grass), liquitex ink (vivid lime green),  crackle paste through a stencil, clear tar gel through a stencil, some stamping and rub ons. Phew! And that's just for starters.

The words: creepy crawly chilling thrilling Halloween, were part of an old stamp. I just stamped out the words and then cut them up.

The spiders webs are a Memory Box die which I die cut five times and placed around the canvas, wrapping them around the edges in places. The spiders were little stickers I had in my stash.

watch out for spooks

Good morning! Today at Crafts 4 Eternity, we have a new challenge which is to use a harvest theme or element.

I have made a mixed media canvas with pumpkins. I used one of the workshops on Christy Tomlinson's Pumpkins and Cider course as my inspiration.

For the spider's web I used the Tim Holtz ~ Shatter stencil with Prima 3D Gloss Gel.

The leaves are by Prima and I sprayed Dylusions ink on them and scrunched them up a bit.

when witches go riding ...

Good morning! Today I have a witchy poo halloweeny mini album to share with you for our Halloween challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week.

I saw this idea on the Sizzix blog, so don't claim it for my own, but I put my own spin on it.

Papers: My Mind's Eye ~ Mischievous.

The dots across the top were made with a Tim Holtz Dot Fade Layering Stencil. I used texture paste mixed with black Liquitex ink and before it dried, I sprinkled on some Crystal distress glitter to make it sparkle a bit.

The cat of course is a Tim Holtz die, which I cut from black glitter cardstock.

Here is the inside of the album.

The *pages* are made from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Pocket Envelope die and I made 8 in total.

I won't bore you by showing each page, as they are all similar.

However, I also added to each pocket, a little insert for attaching photos etc.

Here is the back, with more texture paste.

Hello, today at Cupcake Craft Challenges we have a theme of witches and/or pumpkins.

Here is my piece.

Image: Make It Crafty ~ Witchy Wanda. I embossed her in white onto a black tag. I've combined this with My Mind's Eye
stamps and added some little peel off spiders.

I made the flowers with the Sizzix ~ Tim Holtz Poinsettia die and added a Prima flower to the centre.

Hello there! It's been a while since I've been here. Just been very busy with work and stuff! This week at Crafts 4 Eternity we have a halloween theme, so join us with your spooky projects!

Here is my piece:

I just dug into my box of halloween papers for this, so have used a mixture of Basic Grey, October Afternoon and Moxxie.

Love these papers.

Image: Kraftin' Kimmie ~ Witchypoo. I coloured her with copics and added some stickles.

The Witching Hour

Another Halloween creation! This week we have a MAGICAL MYSTICAL theme at Crafts 4 Eternity. I've made an album for The Witching Hour. Well, I know nothing about such things, so I turned to google to find out when 'The Witching Hour' actually is. The answer is, it varies depending on which website you are looking at.

I've used paper from My Mind's Eye ~ Haunted collection which is all velvety and luxurious.

I made a clock using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Bigz Weathered Clock Die. I cut it out of glittering black cardstock.

I've added a spider border from the glitter cardstock using my Martha Stewart punch.

Another view of the clock.

all hallows eve

Hello! Oh my word, the weeks are whizzing by and already here I am at my 3rd week as Guest Designer for Cupcake Craft Challenges and so enjoying my time here. This week the challenge is BUTTONS & BOWS.

Now please bear with me on the photos, we may be enjoying a beautiful, beautiful October, the best since records began BUT it does not make it easy to photograph!

Once again, I could not resist decorating one of these cute little paperbags, this time a kraft bag and making a mini notebook to pop inside. And ... guess what? ... it is nearly Halloween.

Once again I've used papers from the Pink Paislee ~ Twilight collection.

For the bag, I created a little tag with Tilda with Thistle. As usual, I coloured her with copics and added some stickles.

I created a little notebook to go inside the bag, with more buttons and bows.

I must admit, I am absolutely rubbish at tying bows. I never could tie a shoe lace properly, so what you see here are glorified knots.

Here are the backs.
I am including this at the following challenges:

Empoisoner ... Poisoner

'Tis the season ... Halloween that is. I just love to create for Halloween although I no longer do anything on the day, I used to love dressing up and going trick or treating as a kid.

OK, this is my second week guest designing for Cupcake Craft Challenges where the challenge is uhmmmm ... HALLOWEEN!

For this one I have dug out one of my old Halloween Tildas, but never inked before.

For this project I have used papers from the Pink Paislee ~ Twilight collection.

For my Halloween tree I have used the Magnolia Tree Die. I love this, so versatile.
My image is Magnolia ~ Sitting Witch Tilda coloured with copics and added stickles.

Prima flowers and a metal skull brad complete.

halloween ....little pumpkins

BOO! Hello! It's been a while since I was last here. Took some time out, spent three very lovely, beautiful and sunny weeks in Spain. Had a fantastic time. Now back in time to enjoy the Indian Summer in the UK. Haven't got much crafting done so really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things again.

Anyway, here we are, fast approaching October and 'tis the season ..... Halloween! One of my favourite seasons to craft for!

This week's theme at Crafts 4 Eternity is ANYTHING GOES.

Papers are Echo Park ~ Apothecary Emporium and My Mind's Eye ~ Mischieous collections.

I've used a <u>Martha Stewart ~ Crackle Punch</u> and an <u>EK Success ~ Bat punch</u>.

Love this cute image by Creative Scraps.

And some My Minds Eye Pearl Swirls.

I am going to enter this in at the following challenges:
You'll be seeing much more of me in October as the very lovely FAYE has asked me to be a Guest Cupcake at Cupcake Craft Challenges for the month of October. Woohoo! I look forward to seeing you all there!

Thank you for looking.

poison

Today at  Crafts 4 Eternity, we have a sketch and a halloween theme.

<< Here is the sketch.

I am entering this into the following challenges which all have a halloween theme:

Stamp With Fun
A Spoon Full of Sugar
Creative Inspirations
Dutch Dare
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge
Stampin's For The Weekend
By The Cute & Girly

and finally, 'no white paper': The Corrosive Challenge.

I've struggled to get into the Halloween groove, which normally I love. I think because I was in the midst of Christmassy type things. Also I wasn't feeling very inspired by my Halloween rubbah!

I've used papers by Pink Paislee and My Mind's Eye. My Martha Stewart punches created the spider's web border & strip.

I embossed a Tim Holtz tag with the Sizzix Poison Texture Fades embossing folder. Then I used various inks, glimmer mists and gold paste to give it some character.

I gave the same treatment to a ticket cut from the Ticket Strip die and stamped it with a Tim Holtz halloween ticket stamp.

The cat is a Basic Grey chipboard piece from the Eerie collection. I spritzed it with glimmer mists and rubbed some stickles in.

Thank you for looking.

happy haunting

As you may have guessed by the title ... I've come over all halloweeny for this week's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity, which once again has a recipe consisting of:

The sketch.

Use the colours lemon and lime or the fruit.

Not too many halloweeny challenges around at the moment, but I did find one! So I am entering this into:

'Halloween': Theme Thursday.

'Open theme': Cute Card Thursday.

This is what I came up with.

Papers: Rusty Pickle ~ Thriller such a shame that this company is no more.

For the border, I picked out lots of halloween stamps that I had and just embossed different sections onto inchies that I had cut out with my Cricut. Some inchies I left blank, but I embossed the edges of all of them!

I just love this image by Elisabeth Belle. I bought her last year, but this is the first chance I've had to use her.

I coloured her with copics, one sunny afternoon out in the garden! (Don't see too much of that now even though it is August!).

I hope you have a lovely weekend everybody. It would be nice to see some sunshine :)

happy halloween

Yes, I know it is the Valentine season and not Halloween, but I've just bought this stamp and could not wait until Halloween to use her. Besides which I have a box of Halloween papers that need using up, so why not?

I am entering this into the following challenges:

'Fairy folk': My Time to Craft.

'Triangles': Paperminutes - formed by the panels of her dress.

'Ribbons': Creative Belli.

'Spots & Dots': Cute Card Thursday.

'Distress, buttons & bows': Allsorts Challenge.

'New stash': ABC Challenge.

Papers & Happy Halloween Tag: My Mind's Eye ~ Spider's Web collection.

I have distressed the edges with stickles.

This fabulous stamp is Sweet November Stamps ~ Gossamer Cornwand. Expect to see some more from me using these stamps. I coloured her with my copics and added my At You Spica pen to the web of her dress, shoes and the wings. Unfortunately the sparkle does not show up in the photo.

At the corners of her dress where the spiders are hanging I added some spider peel-offs where they had been part of the stamped image so that I could cut it out easier.

Thank you for looking.
