love ticket

I'm a little late with my posting for this week at Crafts 4 Eternity where we have a colour recipe challenge and we want to see projects featuring these colours:

Although these are pretty wintery colours, I wanted to make it into more of a Valentine theme.

All papers are Basic Grey from various collections.

Image: La Blanche ~ Kissing Lovers.

Using up a Pink Paislee ticket. I have a whole roll of these which will last me forever!

Finally, another view.

boarding pass ~ pastures new

Oh my word! I can't believe I've just had two weeks off work and this is the first blog post I am writing this year. I have no idea where the time has gone, but clearly, when I am at home I don't have enough {me} time! I haven't even had time to go blog hopping, so I must rectify that asap.

My New Year's Resolution is to use up my stash and not buy anything new unless I 'need' it. I will define 'need' as the year progresses. LOL. At the moment, I define 'need' as Magnolia stamps and My Mind's Eye papers.

So, today I an joining you from Cupcake Craft Challenges where the challenge this week is: Something New. Well I have interpreted this as moving to pastures new, hence the travel theme.
Papers: Crate Paper ~ Portrait: Bouquet
Fabric frame: Little Yellow Bicycle
Boarding pass: Crate Paper sticker, cut with a Magnolia die
Lamp: Prima

Image: Magnolia ~ Tilda in a hurry. I love this image. This is me, going off on my travels, always leaving it to the last minute to pack and then just shoving it all in. Although I do insist on an iron and ironing board at the other end, I cannot bear to wear anything wrinkled. Coloured with copics and a few stickles.

Trying to use up some of my paper flowers. I have lots.

Little pull out note thingy.

As this is my first post of the New Year, I should end by saying 'Happy New Year!'. Unfortunately, I didn't see the New Year in, as I was poorly at the time and just slept through it all. Woke up at 1am with Jools Holland blaring on the box. How I slept through that, I don't know, as it was very noisy. It's a really weird feeling missing the New Year, I think it is the first time for me and it's kind of like it hasn't happened yet.
