Graphic 45 Place In Time - January

Oh happy days, today it is Friday, which means another challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity.

This week, we have a bingo challenge. Using the grid, enter something that fits the challenge horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Here is my piece, using: blue, circle, flowers.

I am using Graphic 45 ~ Place in Time: January papers here. I intend to create a piece each month, for the entire year, with these papers, so they are sat on my desk ready and waiting for inspiration!! Errrm, please try and hold me to that!!

My snowman has of course been made with a Tim Holtz die.

I've also added papers from Bo Bunny ~ Snow Day collection.

I must have had this Magnolia Doo Hickey ~ Flag die forever and not used it, but have done so here, to create this banner. I added some Prima pearls.

Everyone, have a really fabulous weekend, enjoying the last miserable one of January. Then we just have to get through equally miserable February, before we arrive at March and the world starts to feel alive again :) and I might actually be able to start taking some decent photos. Ho hum.

Happy days!

the swimmers

Good morning! Here we are at Friday, at last! Today at Crafts 4 Eternity we have a moody blues colour challenge.

Here I have altered up a <u>Tattered Angels Travel Ledger Glimmer Glass album
. Trying saying that really quickly!

If anyone knows of these albums, the front cover is acetate and has a compass printed on it. Well, I cut out the inner circle and added papers to the outer circle.

All papers used are by Magnolia.

Here is the inside of the front cover.

I have coloured up two images of Magnolia ~ Diving Tilda and put one on the outer cover and one on the inside front cover.

Here is the inside front cover.

Then finally, I decorated the back cover.

Thank you for looking.

Good morning and a happy Monday morning to you! First day back at work today and as I write this on Sunday evening, I am not. looking. forward. to. it.

Oh well, I take comfort in the fact that time goes by so quickly, that it will soon be the holidays again :)

Today we have our first new challenge of 2013 at Cupcake Craft Challenges, which is monochromatic blue (but you can use different colours for skin and hair).

Again, I've used the papers from The Girl's Paperie ~ Vintage Whimsy collection. I've put them away now, I promise!

Image: Saturated Canary ~ Isabella, coloured with copics.

The doily on which she is sitting was cut with an Xcut Doily die. Gorgeous!

ride through life with me

Hello and a good morning to you all. Firstly, let me wish you all a Happy New Year! Unfortunately, mine hasn't got off to a flying start as I have been sick for the last 7 days and I'm getting a bit bored of it now! No doubt it will cleared by the time I have to go back to work on Monday!

Well, today at Crafts 4 Eternity we have a challenge of new technique, product or style. I have gone for new cutting dies and a punch and no I didn't get them for Christmas, I had to buy them myself! So a special treat for me:)

Apologies for the awful photos, I have never known it be so dark and all day long too!!

The image is by Crafty Secrets and I've used Spellbinders ~ Romantic Rectangles cutting dies.

You can also see the Martha Stewart ~ Doily Lace which is now my favourite punch.

Papers: The Girls' Paperie ~ Vintage Whimsy. Loving these!

red & white santa

Ooh, it's nearly Christmas! It seems forever since I've been here, I nipped over to Thailand for two and a half weeks :)

Look at this baby jumbo, only six months old. He was so cute, he just wanted to play.

Now I have 17 glorious days off work! Lots of time to get crafty, I hope! This is a real luxury for me, to have some time at home. Seems strange to just be chilling out after a really hectic year.

Anyway, today at Crafts 4 Eternity we have an ANYTHING GOES challenge.

Last weekend I decided I need to make some very quick cards and so this is what I came up with.

Papers: Papermania ~ Home for Christmas

Image: La Blanche ~ Santa with a letter

I used a Spellbinders ~ Floral oval die to cut the frame.

The flower is made from a Spellbinders ~ Poinsettia die.

Thank you for looking! I'm looking forward to popping by your blogs and catching up with you all again.

Merry Christmas!!

12 days of Christmas

Woohoo! Today we have a CHRISTMAS theme at Crafts 4 Eternity. Well I don't often bow to Christmas, but I decided to make an album that I've been wanting to do ever since I got into papercrafting and that is a 12 days of Christmas mini album. I warn you now, this is photo heavy!

For the cover I used a Spellbinders ~ Poinsettia die.

This is quite a chunky album and here are the pages.

Inside cover:

First page:

Second page: for each left hand page I made a pocket for a pull out tag, meant for journalling that day's page. The right hand page is for adding the photographic memory of that day.

The first day of Christmas starts with Christmas day.

Papers ~ I've used a mixture from Making Memories, Simple Stories and Authentique.

Day 2:

Day 3 doesn't have a pullout tag.

Day 4: You might notice that the binding edges of each pages are covered with washi tape.

Day 5: I will show you the left and right hand page

Day 6:

Day 7:

Day 8:

I used Doodlebug for the red & white twine.

Day 9:

Day 10:

Day 11:

Day 12:

turquoise white & black wedding: happiness be yours

Hello there! Well you can tell I didn't have a seasonal bone in my body when I made this piece for the black, white and one other colour at Cupcake Craft Challenge!

I don't know what it was about this challenge, but for some reason I went for a wedding theme using turquoise, white and black.

I have a very white background with a touch of turquoise and a hint of black.

This is pretty much Magnolia themed.

Images: I can never tire of this couple Magnolia: Sitting Wedding Tilda and Sitting Wedding Edwin. Coloured with copic markers and I added some stickles. I have them sitting on a Magnolia ~ Vintage Couch which I just inked and cut out, adding on some stickles to mute the brightness a little.

Magnolia sentiment.

And even Magnolia Doohickeys with a lush Teresa Collins brad.

you have all of my love

Good evening! Today sees a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity where we want to see some kind of musical element on your project.

I was going to make a whole batch of similar cards, but that idea fizzled out after two. LOL!

Here is the first:

Papers: Teresa Collins ~ Noel. I have tons of this paper, it is gorgeous.

Here is the second one.

Love these wooden hearts which I sprayed with glimmer mists.

Thank you for looking.
