Be Good Tilda with Yule Hat

This is my entry for Magnolia v Stampavie: Week 3 ~ Tie that sketch. Here is the sketch:

This is the card I made - as you can see, I turned the sketch around.

I made up the card blank from my Bazzill ~ Places We Love supply. The patterned paper that I used is one of the first sets of cardstock I bought when I started crafting and then never used! I came across it the other day whilst hunting for something else, and just knew I had to use it for something so here it is. It is an old range I believe but new for me!

The card stock is Cosmo Cricket ~ Be Good. I just love all the stained effects on it and I wanted to create a nice scuffy looking card. I used the reverse of Ribbons as the base, stamped the stitched lines on (yes I cheated!) with Kelly Panacci ~ Borders stamps using ColorBox ink and then embossed with clear powder.

The Magnolia stamp I used is Tilda with Yule Hat. Colouring those pesky lines (with my Copics) drove me nuts, trying to keep them straight and trying not to smudge the red ink everywhere. How does everyone else cope with colouring in those lines? Tilda is sitting on the Poinsettia cardstock and the edging at the bottom was cut from Believe. All cardstock edges were scuffed up with my Making Memories cardstock scuffer! The little circular Special Christmas Delivery stamp is from Paper Artsy ~ Xmas - Plate 3, I inked it up and clear embossed it, before cutting out. All ribbons and fibres were from my stash.

Thank you for looking.
