50 Golden years

There is a new recipe challenge today over at Crafts 4 Eternity.

The sketch.

Use some marbled paper.

Make your own embellishment

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

'vintage': Just Magnolia.

'something flowery': Stamp Something Challenge.

'distressed, torn, ripped, broken': Raise the Bar. I have inked edged and distressed flowers.

'colour inspiration': The Play Date Cafe.

The card that I made is for my parents 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. WOW!! What an achievement! That takes some doing.

Papers: Magnolia ~ Something Old, Something New. I inked all the edges with gold ink and machine stitched the papers.

Image: Magnolia ~ Loving Bridal Couple. I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles.

I made some flowers by cutting some linen with my PaperArtsy flower die, cut and layered the pieces, spritzed with glimmer mist and added a pearl brad to the centre.

A bingo card.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:
I used patterned papers from the Bo Bunny ~ Spice collection and printed the Bingo card onto the lighter one.

thank you for being my bridesmaid

It's time for another recipe challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity.

The sketch.

Thank you card or gift.

File tab.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

'diecuts': Creative Card Crew.
'you & me': ABC Challenge.

Papers: Tim Holtz ~ Vintage Shabby.

I cut the top layer down one edge with my Tim Holtz ~ File Tab die and cut an aperture for the image with a Nestie.

Image: Magnolia ~ Bride & Bridemaid coloured with copics and added some stickles.

I used my new Magnolia ~ DooHickey dies to cut Tilda's Lace Border out of vellum paper which I distressed with gold. Love this die which is a cool 7 inches long, so no having to join bits together ....

.... and the Vintage Tag, also distressed with gold. The tag is a decent size too, 3.25 x 2 inches roughly. Love how this die also comes with a hole reinforcer die! I've been trying to find some hole reinforcers for ages, now I can just make my own! Love it! I cut the hole out of a scrap of metal ....

Thank you for looking.

wherever you go ...

It's finally Friday! I thought it would never come!! So nice to be sitting outside in the garden at 9.30 this evening eating our dinner, with the weekend stretching out before us. Time for another recipe challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity.

The sketch

Include stripes

Add some bunting

I am also entering this into some other challenges:

'in stitches': Papertake Weekly.

'sparkling': Stampavie & More.

'lots of flowers': The Corrosive Challenge.

'summer + added option - yellow': Crafty Calendar Challenge.

I've used Webster's Pages ~ Garden Gala papers, sentiment and ribbon.

The ribbon was bunting printed onto a red background, so I cut some of the background out so it looked more like bunting!

The sentiment says: Wherever you go, go with all your heart. (so true!)

I love these 6 x 6 papers, the story is already created for you, all that is needed is an image.

Image: Magnolia ~ Romantic Tilda with Parasol coloured with copics with added stickles.

Oh and in case you are wondering where my stripes are .... ermmmm .... they are in the socks!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and manage to get some sun on them bones!

Thank you for looking.
