Creative Chemistry 101 ~ Day 3

Finally I get to finish my Day 3 tags! It takes Tim 6 minutes to demonstrate each tag, but takes me considerably longer! Each of these took FOUR attempts get them vaguely looking like they should be, but even so I am not really happy with them :(

Sorry about the photos, the light was starting to fade as I took them.

The middle one hasn't stamped too well, but as they are just for me to keep for my technique library, I'm not too fussed.

Whilst I am doing this course, I am also reminded that me and alcohol inks, do NOT go together.

Thank you for looking.

Creative Chemistry 101 ~ Day 2

Hello, here is the first set of technique tags that I've made on Day 2 of Tim's Creative Chemistry 101 course. The instructions for how to make each tag are on the back and they will build up into a handy reference library for me, so I won't be doing any more with these tags.

Really loving the course. Even though I've only done 2 days out of the 4 which have been uploaded so far, I have already learnt sooooo many things. Am so glad that I can now start using these product in the way they are supposed to be used!
Thank you for looking.

wicked witch of the west

Hello and a Happy Monday to you!

Today at Cupcake Craft Challenges the theme is circle cards.

For my project today, I was driven by the technique and then I tried to make it fit the circle.

Papers: Graphic 45 ~ The Magic of Oz

I backed the papers with a sheet of black metal which I had run through the Sizzix Tim Holtz ~ Bubble Wrapping embossing folder. I then sanded the raised bits back to highlight the circles.
Love this Bo Bunny trinket. The purple paper has been embossed with UTEE.

I just couldn't bear to not know what was going on.

Is anyone else I know joining in?

Look forward to sharing my creations, if I ever find time to make any!!

The challenge this week is a colour one. Just use one or more of the colours in the picture as your main colours.

Immediately, I thought of these papers I'd just bought.  Naughty girl me.

I made a mini album.

Finally, thank you so much to Arline, who has left me an award:

Here is what I need to do:
The Liebster Blog Award is used to show appreciation of smaller blogs (under 200 followers) and to help spread readership and joy. As part of the tradition the award is passed along to five other blogs that have motivated and inspired me. It comes from the German meaning dearest or beloved but can also mean favourite. To accept the award you must:

1. Link back to the person's blog who gave it to you and thank them.
2. Post the award to your blog
3. Give the award to 5 bloggers (less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value
4. Leave a comment on the five blogs you chose to let them know

I am linking this award to the following people:
1. Amanda ~ http://amanda-momentsofinspiration.blogspot.co.uk/
2. Michele ~ http://thelilacdiary.blogspot.co.uk/
3. Maarit ~ http://violetscorner.blogspot.co.uk/

friends

Hello! Today I am coming at you from Cupcake Craft Challenges, where we have a fabulous red and yellow colour challenge. WOW! What a stunning combo!

As you can see I have made a box, using my favourite Sizzix Tim Holtz ~ Matchbox die

I made a little mini album to go on top.

I shaped the top cover with a Sizzix Tim Holtz ~ Plaque on the Edge die. It is all held together with a Tim Holtz ~ Small Ring Binder.

Here it is before I added the ribbons to the binder.
