vintage cats

Hello everyone! Today we have a fabby challenge starting over at Crafts 4 Eternity this week, it is ... VINTAGE.

A short while ago, I was asked to create an album for a 50th Birthday, with a cat theme and this is what I came up with. This is quite photo heavy, so look away now if you don't want to see it through :)

The album is A4 sized.
Papers: Creative Imaginations ~ Narrative.

I embossed the edges of EVERYTHING with gold embossing powder ... it was a labour of love ...

Spellbinders ~ Fancy Frames Tags Two die was used to house the birthday sentiment.

The cats I made, by tracing a cat shaped card around my chosen card and then cutting them out.

I used black gems for their eyes and nose ...

... and I couldn't resist giving them little chokers to wear.

I added some Prima gems to them.

A Prima flower which I also embossed and changed the pearls in the centre.

The numbers and name were embossed too!

So, that was the front of the album.

Now for the back ...

... well I had to do the back of the cats, didn't I?

Hold on ... I'm not finished yet!

Then I had to make a box to put it in :)

I kept the theme running (sorry wasn't able to get decent photos of this, as I was in a hurry to get it sent off).

So there you have it!

Bo Bunny Enchanted ~ Wedding Congrats

Hello there, I have set this week's challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges and that is, we want to see a doily, lace and twine on your project. All three!

Once again, I've dug into my Bo Bunny ~ Enchanted papers. I absolutely love this collection, I always feel so inspired when I look at it.

Sorry about this awful photo. Hopefully the smaller ones will make up for it.

Here is my doily. I've decorated a chipboard wedding dress from Maya Road.

Love this chunky Bo Bunny trinket. I've wrapped a key chain around it, which is linked to the dress.

The photo anchor opens up to reveal the other side of the dress and a space on the doily for a personal message.

Finally, here is my lace and twine. I used the Magnolia ~ So Wrapped Lovely> die. Can't believe it has taken me so long to buy this gorgeous die.

Hello ... today I have to share with you this little cutesy for this week's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity, where we want you to feature bears on your project.

Well I'm not normally a teddy bear kind of person, nor a sticker person, but I came across these cute Tatty Teddy embossed stickers</u> from the Me To You collection at <u>Do Crafts and just had to have them.

special delivery

Hi! I hope you've had a great week. Mine has been fraught with computer mishaps and then crashes, on a brand new machine?! Hey ho! Live and learn and put it behind us. My crafty head however, is going full tilt! So go on, bring me a computer crash any day! I will, of course, learn to regret my words....

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity we have a Valentine/love theme. How easy is that at this time of year!

I lurvve a Valentine's theme, in fact I do the love theme all year long.

I've used Bo Bunny ~ Love Letters papers on this, combined with my Spellbinders ~ Grand Labels 23 and X Cuts Filigree Heart diecut.

Image: Some Odd Girl ~ Crushin' Gwen, isn't she cute? I added some Bo Bunny chipboard pieces to my project.

♥ you.

Hello there and happy Monday! Today we have a yellow and grey colour scheme challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges.

This is particularly large - A4 size. I love working with this size but find it impossible to take a decent picture of the whole thing. Plus I have a new camera and I haven't read the instruction manual. I need to though, desperately.

This project is full of tags. I layered the bottom of each with my <u>Martha Stewart ~ Doily
punch ...

... and decorated each one simply.

I love these gorgeous papers and the colour combo: October Afternoon ~ Sidewalk and Farmhouse.

I got inky with my main tag, with distress inks and water, then I stamped Lili of the Valley ~ Ride with Me</u> image onto it, before embellishing.

Can you tell I'm trying to use up my buttons and brads? I have gazillions of the things!

♥ you.
