me 2 u thinking of you

Oh my, I was so busy thinking it's Good Friday and I have a day off, that I clean forgot all about posting my entry for this week's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity, where we have a challenge of feature a cute image.

This is a card I made a while back and features the cute Me to You ~ Embossed Stickers and matching papers.

I used my Spellbinders oval dies to create a layered effect.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely Bank Holiday Easter weekend!

this moment

Hello! So here we are at Monday where we have a fabby challenge for you at Cupcake Craft Challenges where we have a theme of mythical creatures, so bring on your fairies, dragons etc. We are sponsored this week by Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my piece, it is A4 sized and I have trouble photographing.

I have used Imaginisce ~ Twitterpated: Critter Chatter and some scraps for this piece, backed onto kraft paper.

The image is Little Miss Muffet ~ Clover: I believe as usual coloured with copics with some added stickles. How cute is this?

Thank you for looking.

tulipmania

Hello there, and here we are arriving at Friday again, with another fun challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. This week, we have a fabby citrus sorbet colour challenge, using these colours as a guide.

I really had fun with this challenge, these colours are so me! Couldn't resist to add a hint of earthy brown with it.

I even dug out my Magnolia stamps again, and used this Magnolia ~ Tilda with Big Tulip Pot and coloured her with copics with added stickles.

I made some butterflies with my Sizzix: Tim Holtz ~ Butterfly die and added some beaded lace ribbon.

I coloured some plain tulip flowers with my Dylusions ink sprays to match the papers.

Papers: October Afternoon ~ Fly A Kite

style.

Hello and a Happy Friday to you all. This week at Crafts 4 Eternity, our challenge is a mother theme.

Now whenever I think of my Mother, I think of her as stylish. She always was. And still is.

Soooooo ... I have also just discovered and ADORE the mixed media world. I think I have dabbled before, but not really realised it. I have soooo many art types that I like and just go with the flow as the flow goes. Don't worry, I have some cutesy Magnolias planned and coming up for those that prefer these posts. How I love being crafty, is that you can do just about anything you like. Some people like to stick to just one thing, and I do that too at times, but then I like to get daring and test the waters. Push my boundaries.

OK, so here is what I came up with, on my first mission. This was made a week ago, I have learned sooo much more since then. That even now, I would think I would do it differently.

First of all, I layered Glitz paper layers to my manila cardstock. Then I used Tim Holtz ~ Distress Stain: Picket Fence to the whole thing. Then I added bits of various stamps and tissue paper.

For my image, I use the Dylusions: Couture Collection ~ Walk in the Park stamps.

I used manila cardstock, which I inked with a Prima stamp and then sprayed with Dylusion
ink. Then I cut apart and layered as appropriate!

My other half even liked this!

For the lettering, I used Tim Holtz grungeboard letters that I've had for ever and not used. I sprayed them with Dylusions sprays, then covered them with glossy accents.

Thank you for looking.

bo bunny enchanted ~ wedding love

Hello there! Well we have a fabulous challenge this week at Cupcake Craft Challenges this  week, which is sparkle ... how easy is that?

I have a wedding theme going on with the Bo Bunny ~ Enchanted papers. Again. Just can't get enough of these! All of these papers are embossed sparkly!

My main image is a Penny Black~ Bride & Groom stamp which I embossed with black glitter embossing powder, for extra sparkle, and added a hinge!

Opening the hinge, you can see on the left side, a place for journaling.

On the right is a mega large tag, add a photo or journal.

And that is not all!

On the right, I have a hidden tag.

Tag pulled out front side.

Reverse side of tag.

Notice how I have embossed the edges of everything with black glitter embossing powder for that extra sparkle.

white garden journal

Good morning! Today I am back at Crafts 4 Eternity where we have a tic tac toe recipe for you to follow. Simply create a project using three items in a row from the grid below, they can be chosen vertically, horizontally or diagonally, as long as they are all in a row.
My project reads the diagonal from the top right corner to the bottom left: lace, twine, layers.

I decided to make a garden journal, using mainly a white on white theme, as I've (shock horror) never done this before, but have often admired it when others have done it.

I have a pearlised white cardstock background and have used a Tim Holtz ~ Brick Wall embossing folder to create the uhhh ... brick wall!

The banner was created with a Magnolia ~ Flag Doo Hickey to which I added some twine and Prima pearls.

I couldn't resist adding a touch of wood with the Prima clock and a birch heart. The heart is sitting on the Magnolia ~ So Wrapped Lovely Doo Hickey die.

I carried on the wood coloured theme, when I created the garden with a Martha Stewart branch punch.

I added Magnolia Fence and Grass dies together with little tiny flowers with pearl centres. The bird is a Prima bird resin.

Here is the binding for my journal, where I've used silky crush ribbon and added a Prima trinket.

I am entering this in at the following challenges:
